Workspace 09 · Browser companionLive · conditional
Capture a public notice you already have open.
The companion files a public notice from a tab you already have open. Allowed origins today are sam.gov and acquisition.gov. Login-walled aggregators are not on the allowlist. For BidSearch-class exports, use Pursuits → Import.
Availability on this page follows the Customer guide dated 15 Aug 2026. Synthetic fragments are design previews.
The job
Install the packaged companion when it is available to you. In Admin → Browser companion, authorize a five-minute session, copy it into the companion, return to a supported public tab, and click Capture.
What it is not
- Passwords, cookies, form fills, headers, or unrelated page content.
- Reuse of your SAM.gov or aggregator login session.
- Scraping subscription portals. Use Pursuits → Import for entitled PDFs and CSVs.
- A store listing claimed as public if it is not yet available to you.
The capture path
Authorize, copy, capture. Nothing moves until you click.
Read the boundary
Admin → Browser companion states the current permission. Allowed origins today: https://sam.gov and https://www.acquisition.gov.
Authorize five minutes
Issue a one-time session. If it expires, issue another. The companion does not keep a standing login.
Capture on a supported tab
What it takes: notice or document ID, title, agency, source dates. What it never takes: passwords, cookies, form fills, headers, or unrelated page content.
Import when the origin is licensed
Subscription portals and BidSearch-class exports go through Pursuits → Import. Do not use the companion to cross a login or licence boundary.
