Ten questions, most of what people ask.
Getting startedWhat is Winrove?+
Winrove is a workspace for finding, qualifying, pricing, and responding to U.S. government contracts. Federal notices come from the SAM.gov public feed. State and local sources are configured where connectors exist; that is connector state, not a guarantee of populated rows today. Match scoring is a suggestion against your profile. A named person still owns the submission.
BillingHow does the free trial work?+
Starter and Pro include a 14-day trial with no card. After the trial, checkout is required to keep those plans. Agency is sales assisted and does not start from self-serve checkout. Public amounts are on the pricing page.
TechnicalWhat data sources does Winrove use?+
Federal opportunities come from the SAM.gov public feed. Award and spending context, where entitled, comes from public USAspending and FPDS-class records. Configured SLED connectors may return rows; empty results mean no rows for your filters. DemandStar, Jaggaer, Ariba, Ivalua, and Sourcewell are not ingested.
FeaturesHow does the AI proposal writer work?+
Winrove drafts from the solicitation, your profile, and approved past performance you have stored. Requirements extraction and a compliance path exist; they are live or plan-gated, not a promise that Winrove writes most of the bid. You edit, review, and an authorized person submits through the buyer's channel.
TechnicalIs my data secure?+
Role-based access control and audit logging are part of how the product records who did what. Specific encryption, hosting-region, retention, and conformance claims publish only from a dated trust snapshot; the current position is documented in the trust center.
Getting startedDo I need a SAM.gov registration to use Winrove?+
You can use Winrove to research opportunities without SAM.gov registration. However, to actually bid on federal contracts, you'll need an active SAM.gov registration and UEI number. We can help guide you through the SAM.gov registration process.
FeaturesWhat certifications does Winrove support?+
We support set-aside searches for: 8(a) Business Development, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Native American-Owned, Veteran-Owned (VOSB), and other federal small-business set-aside categories. The platform automatically filters opportunities matching the certifications you hold.
BillingCan I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Subscription changes are managed from Settings > Billing in your account. Cancellation, refund, and proration terms are commercial facts we publish only from a reconciled billing snapshot, and we confirm the current terms in writing.
FeaturesWhat NAICS codes does Winrove cover?+
Winrove covers the NAICS codes used in federal procurement. You can search by primary NAICS, secondary NAICS, or industry keywords. Keyword search can surface notices that do not list your stated NAICS; that is a search, not a silent verdict.
Getting startedHow is Winrove different from just searching SAM.gov?+
SAM.gov is the federal system of record. Winrove adds profile-based match suggestions, recorded bid/no-bid, proposal collaboration with review gates, and pipeline tools. SLED appears only where a connector is configured and currently returns records.
